Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Another Possible Ending

I wrote before that I liked the ending when Voldemort died, and that's it... Well, I really do. The ending of the story is okay... just okay with me. I wish it was better than that. Why? It's because JKR rushed ending it, right? She added what happened to them years and years from Voldemort's death, even naming their children one by one. She could have written another book for that. She could have just ended the war, and that's it. But she included a few paragraphs about what happened to them after the war which she could have made into another book.

If I were JKR, there will be an 8th book entitled "Harry Potter: A New Beginning" where it all tells us what happens after the war, their love stories, who married who... it doesn't have to include Voldemort or a new war rising, but it could just be a book of information of everything going on from Harry's triumph over Voldemort until 20 more years of peace in the wizarding world... Or, I can write about Harry's love story with Ginny, telling the world that this Harry Potter phenomenon is not just about magic and Voldemort's power. It's also about them as humans with a heart to love and to live as normal as other people do.

I still insist that JKR could have ended it at the war. Then she can start writing short love stories for a change. She could start by telling us that Harry chooses to live as a muggle, works at a fast food restaurant for a start, has a part time job at the ministry of magic, dates Ginny on weekends, visits Godric Hallow more often, or tries to live at his parents house again... Ron and Hermione could be having small parts in the book. Then, JKR can write another book about Ron and Hermione.

Oh well, it's been done. There's nothing we can do to change it. JKR's version is original and we have to respect it. I guess she just wants to start something new. Maybe a female version of Harry Potter who finds out she's a fairy or a mermaid, instead of being a witch. LOL... Anyway, that ending at the Hogwart's Express is a good one to open up another possible book in the future. What do you think?

If You Are An Animagus, What Would You Be Like?

In the wizarding world of Harry Potter, an animagus is a person who can transform himself into an animal to disguise himself from someone or something. I always think about what if that world really exists? I will be so happy to be part it and I would do anything to get myself enrolled at Hogwarts! LOL... Well, if I'm an animagus, I prefer to be a white parakeet or a siberian husky, and maybe a snowy owl too like Hedwig, any of them with blue eyes. I'm also thinking of a white-winged unicorn coz it always amazes me how magical it really is. Well, how bout you? If you are an animagus too, what do u think you will be? Share your thoughts with me, I will be happy to know more about you.

Have You Heard the Latest? Well, it's a big "WHAT?"

See, Warner Brothers decision to push back the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to July 17, 2009 has upset millions of fans for sure... including me! And I still can't accept that they considered the summer season saying it is an "ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of the last Harry Potter film."

OMG! It's like a year from now! It's waiting for another year to pass just to see the 6th film and I can't just agree with their decision... It really made me so upset. It was yesterday when I decided to stop reading the 6th book again since November is coming and I don't want to spoil the film's surprise. Now, delaying the release is even more surprising! It's a nightmare for HP fans.

I hope that Warner Brothers will do their best to make us happy about it. Delaying it for a month is forgivable, but for 11 months, it is cruel. Well, the thing they could do for a start is to release more pictures.

Anyway, let's see if waiting for 11 more months is worth it... Yup, that is 11 months from now. See, i told yah, it's big "WHAT?" (Grrrrr....)

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: What is ur Favorite Part?

Harry Potter fans have read the 7 books by now and I'm sure we are all waiting for the 6th film which is coming out very soon. Well, I'm just wondering what is your favorite part from the 6th book? Are you looking forward to see it in the film? Because if you're going to ask me, yes, I am hoping to see in the movie all of my favorite parts from the book. Want to know which scene is the one I'm so excited to see? Here it is:

Harry looked around; there was Ginny running towards him; she had a hard, blazing look in her face as she threw her arms around him. And without thinking, without planning it, without worrying about the fact that fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her. After several moments - or it might have been half an hour - or possibly several sunlit days - they broke apart. The room had gone very quiet. Then several people wolf-whistled and there was an outbreak of nervous giggling. Harry looked over the top of Ginny's head to see Dean Thomas holding a shattered glass in his hand and Romilda Vane looking as though she might throw something. Hermione was beaming, but Harry's eyes sought Ron. At last he found him, still clutching the Cup and wearing an expression appropriate to having been clubbed over the head. For a fraction of a second they looked at each other, then Ron gave a tiny jerk of the head that Harry understood to mean, "Well - if you must."

Isn't it so nice? Awww..... I can't wait to see that part... OH PLEASE!!! Hurry up November! I want to watch the film ASAP.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: Funny Excerpts 2

Here's another funny part that I love....

Dangling from the chain in large gold letters were the words: MY SWEETHEART.
"Nice," he said. "Classy. You should definitely wear it in front of Fred and George."

"If you tell them," said Ron, shoving the necklace out of sight and under his pillow, "I -- I -- I'll --"

"Stutter at me?" said Harry, grinning.

Wow, seeing Harry grinning like that, it makes me fall for him all over again.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: Funny Excerpts 1

Here's one of the funny scenes in the 6th book that I always remember...

"You'd think people had better things to gossip about," said Ginny as she sat on the common room floor, leaning against Harry's legs and reading the Daily Prophet. "Three Dementor attacks in a week, and all Romilda Vane does is ask me if it's true you've got a Hippogriff tattooed across your chest."

Ron and Hermione both roared with laughter. Harry ignored them.
"What did you tell her?"

"I told her it's a Hungarian Horntail," said Ginny, turning a page of the newspaper idly. "Much more macho."

"Thanks," said Harry, grinning. "And what did you tell her Ron's got?"

"A Pygmy Puff, but I didn't say where."

Now, where could it really be, Ginny? LOL...

Did You Like The Ending of the Story?

Voldemort died in the end? YES definitely, I liked how the story ended. It only means that the war is over and there's peace again in the wizarding world.

But i found it weird that JKR was so detailed about what happened after so many years including the names of Harry's kids and even Draco's son. With all of those details, she could have written another book for that. I was expecting that Sirius could come back although it was told that nobody can come out from the vail (was it a vail? i forgot how it was called) anymore... So anyway, I also expected Dumbledore to show up somehow or at least try to communicate with Harry. The ending could have been just the funeral of those who passed away in the battle. Harry could have just visited the grave of his parents and told them the war is over. After that, Harry goes home at Grimmauld Place, then he closes the door of his godfather's house, and that's it! JKR could have written another book about him 20 or 30 years after the war.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: A Theme Park

Last May 31st of 2007, Universal Studios and Warner Brothers announced to the public that they will be opening a Harry Potter theme park called "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter".

The theme park will feature the village of Hogsmeade, the mysterious Forbidden Forest, and even Hogwarts castle itself. We will be able to go inside Harry's school, enjoy butterbeers and the famous pumpkin juice at Three Broomsticks, we might see the Shrieking Shack, and all souvenir shops will be at Hogsmeade for sure.

JK Rowling liked the idea and said that the fans of the books and films will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go there myself but i'm sure it's gonna be expensive... Anyway, I hope the tickets to the theme park will be like tickets to Hogwarts Express... and I'm hoping that the place is closed walls so that it will give us the idea that it is unplottable too, and so that going to the theme park will really need us to take the Hogwarts express first. I wish there's this train ride somewhere, a few distance from the park itself and you can't go to the park without this ride, coz it's gonna be the only way... WOW, that will be so cool right? Then there will be like a boat ride to the castle too or this carriage that will take us closer to the castle... I wish the theme park will really be the exact Hogwarts school we know.

The Opening: Between December 15, 2009 and June 30, 2010
The Location: Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, USA
The Website: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Who Among Harry, Hermione, and Ron Do You Like Best?

Of all the three, I like Hermione the most coz she's very smart. Also, I like Ron's character coz he's funny and weird without him knowing that. He's true to himself and he's exerting effort to be good at everything.

I used to say that I like Harry the most but I've changed my mind.. LOL... Well, I like him in the movies coz he's good looking. But in the books, I liked him only coz he's dedicated to his mission. Now, if you are going to think about his attitude, he has the tendency to be rude. He could be impolite too and he loses his temper easily. Well, I understand his character so I don't hate him much. For me, his character is just like any ordinary boy growing up to be an adult, pressured with his Voldemort mission thats why he could be bad at times.

What If Harry Died in the Last Book?

For all the readers of the HP books, we know that Voldemort died in the last book. But what if it was Harry who died instead of him?

Well, if he died, it would mean that Voldemort survived, the war isn't over yet, and so it's not gonna be a good ending for the story. There are more ways how the story could have ended but i think JKR rushed wrapping it up that's why the ending turned out to be disappointing for a lot of HP fans. I myself was disappointed how it turned out but then, somehow, JKR has made other HP fans happy with it, and that's good for her... If Harry died, all of his sacrifices in the previous books will be a complete nonsense... So, it's good that JKR just decided to end Harry's miseries than prolonging the suffering of the wizarding world under Voldemort's hands.

Is the Casting of the HP movies good?

Well, the casting is actually NOT GOOD (I'm referring to a few characters only) coz in the books, Harry is not good looking but Daniel Radcliffe is, and Hermione is not pretty too in the book but Emma Watson is. Katie Leung as Cho Chang and Bonnie Wright as Ginny are just okay, meaning there could be someone better than them. If they could have chosen someone more pretty than Bonnie, that's good coz in my opinion, Bonnie and Daniel don't look perfect as a couple in the movies. But then, somehow, Bonnie's appearance is the same as how Ginny was described in the books, so Bonnie is okay for the role too. It's Daniel who don't look the same as Harry in the story.. LOL.If they chose another boy to play as Harry instead of Daniel, Bonnie could have been perfect for the role.

When Emma was younger, she looked also perfect for the role of Hermione. She had bushy hair just like how she was described in the first book. But then she grew up to be so beautiful that her bushy her as described in the books was gone. I wish they were consistent about this.

Daniel looked perfect in the first film but then he grew up to be very handsome while Harry in the book was just described as an ordinary looking boy who looks underfed, meaning he is so thin, from the beginning of the story up to the last. I wish they were consistent about this too.

On the other hand, Rupert Grint is perfect for the role of Ron. Rupert got taller each year which is just the same as Ron in the books who always get taller too every summer. Seamus and Dean, Luna and Neville were played by actors who look similarly to them. As well as the professors, the members of the order, people from the ministry, and the death eaters were well casted.

I know that it's not Daniel and Emma's fault to grow up as good looking as they are now, but I hope that the Harry Potter management did something to make both of them still look like the characters they are portraying. As a reader and a HP fanatic, I want to see on the big screen what I've read from the books.

My Favorite Scenes in the Harry Potter Books/Films

I've read the books a lot of times. I think I've read four times each except with the last 2 books. I've read HP6 twice and HP7 once coz i've got not much time to read them again. I've watched the films too and I think I've seen 'em 3 times each. Well, all of us has a favorite scene from the each of the books/films. Here are my favorites:

HP1: when Ron and Harry were on the train and Harry bought all the candies for both of them, then Hermione comes in and fixes Harry's eyeglasses, and leaves telling Ron he's got a dirt on his nose.

HP2: when Ron drove his dad's car and they were thrown out by the car after it got wrecked by the whomping willow.

HP3: when Harry and Hermione rode Buckbeak to rescue Sirius, Hermione was scared of heights!

HP4: when Harry asks Cho to be his partner at the yule ball and she says she can't... I also love the part when Harry was on the prefect's bath! I wish i was myrtle! haha...

HP5: when they were going from one room to another in the Dept. of Mysteries while being chased by the death eaters (I loved the action).

HP6: I like the scene with Harry and Albus going to the cave and Harry seeing the inferi... And when Albus drunk the water from the basin (not sure if it's a basin) just to get the locket... Harry being helpless and all... (so sad....)

HP7: I like the scene when Dudley wanted Harry to go with them to hide from Voldemort (I cried here)... when members of the order/harry's friends were all emerging from the painting, ready to fight the death eaters... and when percy came back to the weasleys... when Dobby saved them (but I don't like the dying part) and Ron rescuing Harry at the lake and then the trio got reunited again...

How bout you? What scenes did you like most?
